As many of you know, the winter months are traditionally a slower season for rentals, and this year is no exception. We’re also seeing additional slowdowns due to broader economic factors and the election, which tend to impact real estate activity. While this can feel frustrating, we want to reassure everyone that this is normal for the time of year, and homes are still being rented—it just takes a little more patience right now.
Here’s what ASSURED Property Management does to ensure maximum visibility for every property we list:

✅ Social Media Marketing: We share listings on our Facebook page, Marketplace, and over 10 local housing groups to reach as many potential renters as possible.
✅ Rapid Response: We reply to inquiries within 12 hours to keep prospects engaged.
✅ Flexible Showings: We schedule showings quickly, including weekends, to accommodate potential renters—a service many companies don’t offer.
Despite these efforts, this time of year naturally requires patience.
It’s important to note that while lowering rent might generate more inquiries, it doesn’t guarantee securing a qualified tenant. If your property is priced appropriately and marketed well, it’s just a matter of time before the right tenant comes along.
I’ve had homeowners from other property management companies reach out to me, frustrated that their homes haven’t rented in over two months. Upon reviewing their listings, I’ve found that their properties are just as widely marketed as ours. While I’d love to gain new business, I’ve advised these homeowners that, in my opinion, it appears that their current property managers are doing everything possible given the market conditions.
