FAQ

All maintenance requests should be submitted through your tenant portal.

  • Fire: Call 911 first, then notify your property management company.
  • Flooding from Plumbing: Shut off your water valve and immediately notify your property management company.
  • Gas Leaks: Call 911 and the utility company first, then notify your property management company.

Once approved, you have 48 hours to electronically sign your lease and submit your full security deposit and pet fees.

We use Buildium, our rental management system, for lease signing, so it’s crucial that all information on your initial application is accurate. Each adult over 18 must have their own individual email address linked to their electronic signature.

Your lease will be sent via email for signing, and your welcome letter with move-in details, including utility transfer contacts, will be sent separately to the same email contacts on file.

Deposits must be paid online at the time of lease signing and are initially considered a “holding deposit” until your move-in date when it becomes the security deposit. Holding deposits are non-refundable. The security deposit is refundable after move-out, less any charges owed. Rent payments can also be made online on or before your move-in date. All move-in funds, utility transfer confirmations, and rental insurance confirmation must be received before your move-in appointment to receive your keys. By submitting your application, you acknowledge the home is rented in “AS-IS” condition, with a standard make-ready performed between tenants to ensure cleanliness and functional items. Cosmetic upgrades like painting or carpet replacement are not guaranteed unless specified in writing.

At move-in, your property manager will complete a Move-In Condition Report noting cosmetic deficiencies and functional repairs needed. You’ll receive a copy via your portal and must review and return it signed within 72 hours. Any missed items or corrections must be emailed to info@ASSUREDpropmgmt. om with photos and descriptions within 72 hours for documentation. Failure to do so defaults to the conditions listed in the report.

We prioritize accommodating your preferred move-in date. If the previous tenant leaves the property in good condition, there’s usually no issue. However, if additional preparation is needed, we appreciate your patience as we expedite the process.

For any unanswered questions, please contact our office or your property manager directly.

Rent is due by the 1st of each month and is considered late if not received by the close of business of the 5th. If you know that you will have a delay or problem paying by the due date, contact your property manager immediately. Lack of communication can affect your payment record.

Each property has its own policies regarding pets, and we are a highly pet-friendly rental company. If a rental listing specifies “no pets,” unfortunately, pets are not permitted. For other properties, pets are subject to approval by the owner, typically limited to two pets, and require payment of non refundable pet fees. These fees may include one-time charges and monthly pet rent, depending on the home.
